Warner Brothers Games wanted to reach their global audience for the much anticipated launch of Mortal Kombat 11.

Suite Spot was brought on as a partner by their agency Giant Spoon to advise and produce the live broadcast. Over the eight weeks leading up to the activation complete with the game launch and tournament, Suite Spot advised on creative and technical logistics for a best-in-class online broadcast program that could match the intensity of the onsite experience. The results?

An intense live event on WBG’s site, Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, Steam, Mixer, IGN, and additional partners. Their audience of over 1 million live viewers were entertained with sneak peeks into the game, tournament gameplay, new character reveals, exclusive interviews, celebrity announcements, and first access to purchase the game itself. In addition to the 6 hour live stream, Suite Spot created snackable social content posted during the event and delivered a sizzle video within 72 hours (includes WBG approvals) to support marketing/PR and amplify the buzz around MK11.
