Honda | Inside the Indy
Every year racing fans from around the world journey to Indianapolis for the Indy 500. Honda wanted to share the adrenaline rush of IndyCar Racing with consumers across the globe by placing them in the driver’s seat. Their strategy was Inside the Indy Challenge, a nine-part documentary series showcased on an interactive website hub. Enter Suite Spot.
Our creative team was embedded with the racing team to produce a truly one-of-a-kind fan experience. From California to Brazil, Sweet Spot captured events as they unfolded, culminating with the legendary race at the Indianapolis 500. Our team collected rare, behind-the-scenes footage and conducted exclusive interviews to create dynamic and thematically driven story lines. Sweet Spot amplified Honda’s voice by creating two additional videos for each race, tripling the original scope of the project. Videos were edited and mastered within 48 hours and released throughout the week to increase awareness for the following race.
The series provided consumers with the opportunity to engage with team members and Honda directly. From the excitement on the track to the team hustle in the garage, Sweet Spot painted an intimate portrait of Honda’s most promising IndyCar teams. With all the focus on the drivers and their journey to the final race, Honda was seamlessly incorporated into the videos as the engine that drove the story from start to finish line.
